As someone who has sat on the other side of the couch, heart heavy with the overwhelming weight of anxiety, shame, grief, hopelessness, and defeat, I understand the bravery it takes to enter therapy, to confront yourself in the mirror, and to face your problems so openly and honestly. Every journey begins with a first step. As scary as this first step may be, the decision to embark on this journey of healing is a tremendous act of self-care, and it is an honor to walk it with my clients.
With a Masters in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and 9 years of experience in private practice, I am dedicated to creating a warm, secure environment that promotes unconditional acceptance while you heal and grow; a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping skills to manage stress and change, achieve personal goals, and find peace and happiness. My passion involves supporting young professionals, adults, and couples in premarital counseling. By incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) alongside person-centered insights, I utilize an integrative approach to meet you where you are and address your specific needs.
It is incredibly fulfilling and the greatest honor to be part of my clients’ growth, healing, and self-discovery. To be invited into their world and to witness their journey is so meaningful, special, and just the coolest thing in the world.
"“Only within a safe space and a trusting relationship can growth and self-discovery unfold.”
